An apparent vast improvement over the original 50mm f1.5 Nokton would take it into Leica territory, in terms of quality. Again, the new 50mm f1.5 II is all-metal construction lens, but with a smooth focusing ring (the 50mm f1.5 has a knurled ring). An interesting difference is that the new version is available in six different variations! A choice of Single or Multi-coated and three colour schemes (Black, Silver and Black Nickel)
