Leica Viewfinder Thread Adapter for M10 Cameras

Following the success of the E-Mount 40mm f1.2, here is the VM mount version. Optically the same as the E-Mount but slightly adjusted so it can be worked by both film and digital platforms.

The Leica Viewfinder Magnifier M 1.4x magnifies the viewfinder image by two fifths. Providing a major aide in framing the subject at focal lengths above 75 mm. By magnifying the rangefinder images, it greatly enhances focusing accuracy, especially when shooting at telephoto focal lengths. The 1.4 x viewfinder magnifier turns into magnification of 1x (0.95x with M8 Models); this combination allows comfortable viewing of the subject with both eyes. The viewfinders are simply screwed into the viewfinder ocular of the Leica M. A small chain attached to the Leica M's carrying strap eyelet prevents it from being lost or damaged. A leather pouch is supplied for safekeeping when it's not attached.

The LEICA VIEWFINDER MAGNIFIER M 1.25x magnifies the viewfinder image by one quarter, providing a major aid in framing the subject at focal lengths above 50 mm. By magnifying the rangefinder images, it also greatly enhances focusing accuracy, especially when shooting at telephoto focal lengths. In this way it turns a LEICA M with 0.72X viewfinder magnification into one with 0.9X magnification; the effective rangefinder base length is increased from 49.9 mm to 62.33 mm. THIS ADAPTER WILL WORK WITH VARIOUS M LENSES.
The design of the new lens and the new adapter is perfectly matched to each other. When mounted on the adapter, the Leica Macro-Elmar-M 90 mm f/4 can also be used in its collapsed position for focusing all the way to infinity. Thanks to the adapters variable extension, this allows photographers to set any distance from 41 cm (reproductionratio 1:2) to infinity without having to dismount the adapter.The Leica Macro-Adapter-M and the Leica Macro-Elmar-M form a convenient solution for close distance photography using the live view function of the Leica M (Typ 240). This combination extends the field of application of the M camera to macro photography up to reproduction ratio of 1:2 by allowing focusing down to 41cm.
As the Macro-Adapter-M is also compatible with other M lenses, it offers Leica M photographers an even wider range of opportunities for creative composition and additional variety in reportage portfolios.
