Leica Noctilux 50mm f0.95 ASPH 6-Bit

Apochromatic colour correction and an aspherical lens surface are combined for the first time in this lens of this type. Of its five individual elements, two are made of high-refraction glass, while two others feature anomalous partial dispersion. Its brilliance and quality of resolution are exemplary even at full aperture. Light falloff is very low. Its fast aperture, for a 90mm lens, lets you shoot at relatively short exposure times even in dim light, helping to minimise the effects of camera shake, for instance when photographing street scenes from a distance.

Carefully adapted in line with modern lens design, the Leica Noctilux-M 50 f/1.2 ASPH. marks the return of one of the most famous lenses made for the Leica M-System.

Its light sensitivity (which is enormous even by today?s standards) further contributed to the Noctilux?slegendary status ?as did its unique aesthetic: images captured at open aperture are imbued with a soft, almost dreamlike quality ?creating an unmistakable look with an exquisite bokeh.

the Leica Summicron-M 28 mm f/2 ASPH. each delivering enhanced image performance and quality, thanks to their new optical design.

High performance and speed are also distinct characteristics of the Summicron-M 28 mm f/2 ASPH. wide-angle lens. Its outstanding speed makes it particularly versatile and produces brilliant
imaging results, even in difficult lighting conditions. At its maximum aperture, the Summicron-M 28 mm f/2 ASPH. delivers rich contrast, differentiated reproduction of even the finest structures, a soft and smooth bokeh, and extremely high resolution. Improvements within the optical design in this new generation lens have made it possible to achieve superior image performance across the entire image field. The significant reduction of image field curvature guarantees better resolution of details from corner to corner within every picture.

With its impressive angle of view of 107?, this new TRI-ELMAR conquers 16 mm super wide-angle photography in perfect Leica M style. Due to the minimal distortion and barely perceptible field curvature, it can be recommended for highly demanding architecture photography even at the 16 mm setting. Used on the digital M8, it produces the image effect of a 21 - 28 mm lens, still enabling extreme wide-angle views. The ultra compact shape is achieved by two aspherical elements. A new design of the interior focusing significantly enhances the quality in the close-focus range through an adaption of the floating element principle. Brilliant field depth can therefore be used from a distance of 0.33 m for hyperfocal photography.

Six elements are made of glasses with anomalous partial dispersion, which not only reduce chromatic aberrations to almost zero, but also provide apochromatic correction ?a quality that is rarely found in lenses of this focal length.

Possible by a patent-pending double cam unit newly developed by Leica engineers. As a result, the rotation angle of the focus ring could be almost doubled to 176°in comparison to the previous model – with the same compact size of the lens.

A telephoto lens of uncompromising quality with apochromatic color correction, the resolution, contrast, and sharpness of the 135 mm APO-TELYT are optimal at all apertures. It also has very little light falloff even at maximum aperture and minimal distortion, resulting in top pro-level performance. This lens can render the finest details clearly and in rich contrast. As the longest focal length in the Leica M system, it's ideal for shooting over long distances and is the perfect completion of any high-class outfit. It permits distinctive landscape shots with typical telephoto effects: the foreground and background are visually compressed. Moreover, it enables frame-filling portraits to be shot from afar, so the subject is undisturbed.

The Macro-Elmar-M 90 mm f/4 can be used as a compact 90 mm telephoto lens or, in combination with the Leica Macro-Adapter-M, for macro shots up to a magnification of 1:2. Either way, the lens provides an incredibly high imaging performance.

Without the adapter, the Leica Macro-Elmar-M 90 mm f/4 is an extremely versatile telephoto lens ? for example, for portraits with shallow depth of field and in travel photography for capturing details in landscapes. For reportage photography, the Leica Macro-Elmar-M 90 mm f/4 allows photographers to capture discreet shots at a greater distance from the subjects. The Leica Macro-Elmar-M 90 mm f/4 is a compact and lightweight alternative to existing Leica M-Lenses of this focal length. When not in use, the lens can be collapsed to save valuable space in the camera bag.

The extremely shallow depth of field at open aperture produces portraits and detailed studies of unequalled aesthetic effect. The result is outstanding image quality, comparable to the Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH., which is considered the best standard lens ever produced. A new generation of 28mm Summicron

This retro edition lens is modelled on a screw mount lens produced at the Leitz factory in Wetzlar from 1955 to 1963. Its unmistakable signature is almost impossible to reproduce by digital means and makes the lens a true classic that is now reborn in a revised edition, with exactly the same optical properties. The fact that this is no simple reconstruction is obvious at first sight: the design of the Summaron-M has been refined down to the essentials, without losing any of the character of its legendary ancestor.
