Ever-ready Case for Apo Televid 82 W
The new neoprene cover for the Leica APO Televid 82 W spotting scopes fits securely around the body of the spotting scope. The durable neoprene protects the optics against impacts and guarantees comfortable handling. The long opening at the centre of the bag allows a smooth rotation of the mounted spotting scope along the longitudinal axis. For longer transportation the carrying strap can be fixed to the spotting scope bag. To prevent the carrying strap from swinging in the wind, it can be easily taken off again. The covers for front lens, eyepiece and focusing barrel are made of robust Cordura. Eyepiece as well as front lens are the most exposed parts of the spotting scope. Thanks to the Cordura covers they are protected against impacts, scratches from thorns and rough terrain. With additional buttons both covers can be fixed to the spotting scope to prevent them from swinging in the wind.

The Leica Ultravid 50 HD-Plus models provide excellent contrast and outstanding image brightness that other binoculars with larger front-lens diameters can hardly rival. Fluoride lenses ensure optimum clarity and resolving power. Thanks to their large objective lens diameter, they are particularly suitable for use in twilight and the early evening hours.

The Leica Ultravid 50 HD-Plus is available with a magnification factor of 8x, 10x or 12x.

The shock-absorbant, impermeable to water pressure Ultravid with 20mm lens diameter, a large field of view of 113 m (341 ft) and an optimized close range of 1.8 m (7.2 ft). This Duovid is a high-aperture, high-performance set of binoculars that becomes a mini spotting scope with a simple flick of the wrist. In the 10x position, it offers a steady image with a large depth of field. Changing to 15x allows for a level of detail recognition that was previously reserved for spotting scopes. All of this with using both eyes! Because of its excellent imaging performance, the 50 mm Duovid is especially suited for astronomical viewing, and the necessary tripod adapter is included with the binoculars. The ergonomic form and tactile rubber reinforcement ensure a sure grip - even in wet and with gloves - and for good image steadiness.

The APO-Televid 82 delivers superb optical performance for brilliant insights into nature that are rich in detail and contrast - from dawn until dusk. The combination of the apochromatic optics with their new FL glass and the 82 mm front lens diameter increase the light yield, compared to the previous models, by more than 6%! The eye piece is fast bayonet mounted and has a magnification of 25x to 50x. It has a very wide angle viewing area, which gives the user a unusually wide field view. The object you are viewing is not only magnified, but also the surrounding area and thus its context can also be observed exactly.
You can now also take a "scoped" photo of your favourite subject easily using an adapter designed specifically for the LEICA D-LUX4 digital camera.
