With the floating neoprene carrying strap they will always remain afloat, allowing for the care-free use of Leica binoculars near or in water. The extra wide fit of the strap protects the neck and shoulders when carrying heavier equipment.

Ever-ready Case for Apo Televid 82 W
The new neoprene cover for the Leica APO Televid 82 W spotting scopes fits securely around the body of the spotting scope. The durable neoprene protects the optics against impacts and guarantees comfortable handling. The long opening at the centre of the bag allows a smooth rotation of the mounted spotting scope along the longitudinal axis. For longer transportation the carrying strap can be fixed to the spotting scope bag. To prevent the carrying strap from swinging in the wind, it can be easily taken off again. The covers for front lens, eyepiece and focusing barrel are made of robust Cordura. Eyepiece as well as front lens are the most exposed parts of the spotting scope. Thanks to the Cordura covers they are protected against impacts, scratches from thorns and rough terrain. With additional buttons both covers can be fixed to the spotting scope to prevent them from swinging in the wind.

The APO-Televid 82 delivers superb optical performance for brilliant insights into nature that are rich in detail and contrast - from dawn until dusk. The combination of the apochromatic optics with their new FL glass and the 82 mm front lens diameter increase the light yield, compared to the previous models, by more than 6%! The eye piece is fast bayonet mounted and has a magnification of 25x to 50x. It has a very wide angle viewing area, which gives the user a unusually wide field view. The object you are viewing is not only magnified, but also the surrounding area and thus its context can also be observed exactly.
You can now also take a "scoped" photo of your favourite subject easily using an adapter designed specifically for the LEICA D-LUX4 digital camera.

These handy Duovids offer a double magnification change. 12x magnification is unique in a premium 42 mm binocular, allowing the user to observe the finest nuances of any image.

The compact 42 mm Duovid offers both 8x magnification, with a wide field of view and a shake-free image, as well as a 12x magnification, ideal for discerning additional detail. Changing magnification is done separately for both tubes by turning the two rings. Automatic Diopter Compensation (ADCTM ), the diopter value you set is retained even when changing magnification.
