The NEW Voigtlander APO-Lanthar 50mm f/2 Aspherical lens for Leica M-Mount cameras is based on the Sony E-Mount version released last year (2020), and has been optimised for full-frame M-mount sensors. Optically the lens is constructed of 10 elements in eight groups, with two abnormally dispersed glass elements and two double-sided aspherical lenses along with a floating mechanism. This produces perfectly circular bokeh wide open and also closed down as far as f/5.6 thanks to its 12-bladed diaphragm.
